3D Hubs Secures $ 7 Million Series B Funding

Global 3D printer network 3D Hubs has closed a $ 7 Million Series B funding led by EQT Ventures and with backing from previous investor Balderton Capital. EQT Ventures partner Ted Persson will join the 3D Hubs Board.

Amsterdam-based startup 3D Hubs is a rapidly growing network of currently over 32,000 3D printers in over 150 countries worldwide. The platform connects local 3D printer owners with people requiring 3D printing services.

3D Hubs was founded by former 3D Systems employees and design engineers Brian Garret and Bram de Zwart in 2013. In 2015 the company was already able to raise $ 4.5 Million and expanded its team based in Amsterdam and New York.
