Bambu Lab’s 3D printing platform MakerWorld has introduced new guidelines for print profiles. The aim is to improve the quality of the prints on the platform. This change affects all users who share profiles on the platform and aims to increase the reliability and quality of 3D prints.
The new guidelines, which come into force on 9 October, require creators to review and, if necessary, adapt their existing profiles. MakerWorld is responding to feedback from the community and aims to provide users with more consistent and higher quality print results.
The detailed requirements for the print profiles are summarised in a comprehensive document on the MakerWorld wiki page. Users will find specific technical specifications that must be observed when creating and updating profiles.
The platform relies on the cooperation of the community to enforce the new standards. Profiles that do not comply with the updated guidelines after the deadline risk being reported and removed. This emphasises the importance that MakerWorld attaches to compliance with these quality standards.
