Instructables was hit with a new interesting project – a wireless 3D printed lantern.
The lantern was made out of wood filament what gives the lantern an extra special look. It also has a battery build in which can be charged over the fitting docking station.
After the design process was finished, the parts where printed with wood filament for the housing. For the glowing parts a normal clear PLA filament. All the electronics are built together using a soldering iron and a hot glue gun. All together all parts for the lamp can be bought for just around 75$.
You can find a list of all needed parts and the STL files on Instructables.
