3D-Print Technologies in the Industrial Sector – iGo3D Presents Practical Applications at the Hannover Messe

It has never been done before. For the first time iGo3D is going to show all industry established 3D-Print technologies, like FDM, SLA and SLS, in action at the Hannover Messe (Hall 6, Stand L55). From the 25th until the 29th April 2016 interested visitors can convince themselves about possible application areas in the industrial sector. A complete workflow will be demonstrated through an innovative scan process, so that a potential use can be simulated practically.

The technologies in the 3D-Print and 3D-Scan sector developed rapidly during the last years, so that it is even a challenge for big industrial companies to maintain an overview. There are already several existing use cases that identify those technologies as cost and time saving alternatives. With the presence at the Hannover Messe, iGo3D pursues the aim to make potentials tangible and to demonstrate possible areas of application.

With our trade show we want to shape the world of ideas from industrial companies three-dimensional. The problem is not that there are no application possibilities for the 3D-Print. The challenge is to identify those. If that is accomplished, the time and cost saving potentials will quickly become clear

iGo3D’s CEO Tobias Redlin

A special highlight on this exhibition will be the presentation of the SLS-Printer Lisa from Sinterit. This printer, which is shown in Germany for the first time, could cause a small revolution in the 3D-Print industry. Lisa is the first powder printer in desktop size and convinces, compared to other SLS-Printers, with the price.

The following products will be exhibited:

  • Sinterit Lisa SLS-Printer: Works with PA-12 powder in a lasermelting technology
  • Ultimaker 2 Extended + FDM-Printer: Processes polymers in a polymer melt technology
  • Formlabs Form 2 SLA-Printer: Hardens resin through a high-performing UV-Laser
  • Evixscan Evatronix Scanner: Industrial solution for reverse engineering, quality control, inspection and maintenance

If your company deals with the integration of 3D-Print and 3D-Scan technologies or you want to find out more about the potentials for your company, we recommend to visit the iGo3D exhibition stand (Hall 6, Stand L 55).
