The Instructables user mtairymd designed a three armed trammel of Archimedes which can be build just using 3D printing and a few screws.
The trammel of Archimedes is a mechanism that allows a crank handle to move in an ellipse. The version from mtairymd uses three rails instead of two. This machine is without a real purpose but is a very nice case study for your 3D printer.
