A four-part video series of the Boston Children’s Hospital follows the story of Violet, who had been diagnosed with a rare and dangerous facial birth defect.
Drs. Meara, Proctor and Weinstock prepared for the difficult surgery by using a 3D printed model of Violet’s skull to determine where to exactly cut it without damaging the brain. The models were 3D printed on Stratasys’ Objet Connex500.
