3D printing service provider Sculpteo has added Solid Black Plastic to their portfolio of available materials to choose from.
Objects ordered in Solid Black Plastic are printed using black polyamide powder with Selective Laser Sintering technology. According to Sculpteo it a very strong material that features a resistance close to the one of injection-moulded plastic parts. It is composed of Polyamide 11 (PA 11).
Sculpteo has now three coloured plastic powders on offer: white; grey an black. Objects can be ordered with a maximum size of 180 x 220 x 300 mm. The company is currently also working on polishing finished for the material, so objects have an appearance closer to injection moulded ones.
