The US company 3DChimera has announced that it will act as an authorized distributor for the high-performance materials of the German manufacturer Fiberthree. This cooperation gives American customers access to a wide range of technical materials that have been specially developed for demanding applications in industrial 3D printing.
Fiberthree’s material portfolio includes carbon fiber-reinforced filaments and ESD-safe materials. These are optimized for use on Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) printers and are characterized by high strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability. Applications range from the aerospace and automotive industries to electronics and consumer goods. All products are manufactured in Germany and meet the highest quality standards.
Felix Wendt, CEO of Fiberthree, shared his excitement about the partnership: “We’re thrilled to partner with 3DChimera to bring our advanced materials to the U.S. market. Their commitment to delivering cutting-edge 3D printing solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to empower engineers and manufacturers with the tools they need to innovate. With 3DChimera’s expertise and our materials’ exceptional properties, we’re confident this collaboration will push the boundaries of what’s possible in additive manufacturing.”
Special attention is paid to the specific material properties. Carbon fiber-reinforced filaments offer an outstanding combination of lightness and resilience, while ESD-safe filaments guarantee reliable protection against electrostatic discharge. High temperature resistant polymers are also available that are suitable for use in extreme conditions.
Alex Hussain, CEO of 3DChimera, emphasized the importance of this addition to their offerings: “Our customers demand the best materials for their most challenging applications, and Fiberthree’s portfolio delivers exactly that. By offering Carbon Fiber Reinforced, ESD-safe, and high-performance polymers, we’re empowering engineers to produce parts with unparalleled performance and reliability. This partnership reinforces our mission to be the go-to source for advanced additive manufacturing solutions.”
With this partnership, 3DChimera is responding to the growing demand for industrial 3D printing solutions in the US. Customers can now purchase Fiberthree materials from 3DChimera and receive comprehensive support for integration into existing manufacturing processes.
