3E EOS expands capacities for additive manufacturing with Stratasys technology

The company 3E EOS has significantly expanded its production capacities in the field of additive manufacturing by investing in Stratasys technology. With the acquisition of large-scale systems such as the F3300, F900 and SAF technologies, 3E EOS now has ten advanced 3D printers that are used for prototyping, toolmaking and series production. This expansion marks an important step in establishing a center for additive manufacturing specifically designed for the aerospace, automotive and defense industries.

“In a world where trends are evolving rapidly, staying ahead of the market is not only an advantage but a necessity,” says Emir Ozdemir, Head of Market Development at 3E EOS. “Our partnership with Stratasys ensures that we remain innovative and deliver solutions that exceed the demands of the market. By equipping our team with the best additive manufacturing technology in the industry, we are fostering innovation and driving excellence.”

The integration of the new systems makes it possible to shorten production times by up to 45 days and reduce costs by 40 percent at the same time. The advantages of the technology are particularly evident in the production of critical components such as fuel adapters or air ducts for aircraft. The F3300 printer is seen by 3E EOS as a key component for the production of cost-efficient high-volume projects, which can be realized up to 20 percent more cost-effectively.

Andreas Langfeld, President EMEA and APAC at Stratasys, comments: “3E EOS is demonstrating a forward-thinking approach by strategically applying additive manufacturing to applications where it offers clear advantages over traditional methods. By developing meaningful use cases and integrating AM into its operations, 3E EOS has recognized the potential to increase efficiency and innovation. 3E EOS’ decision to establish a large AM center highlights the importance of additive manufacturing and enables the company to maximize its positive effects across the entire manufacturing lifecycle.”

With this investment, 3E EOS strengthens its position in the manufacturing industry and demonstrates how additive manufacturing can enable innovative and cost-effective solutions.
