The software company trinckle has introduced the Additive App Suite. This is a platform designed to facilitate the use of 3D printing technologies in industry. With this solution, trinckle is targeting engineers, developers and other users who want to integrate additive manufacturing into their processes. The platform is based on the success of fixturemate, an app for designing fixtures, and is being expanded to include three new applications.
The Robotic Finger app allows users to design robotic fingers that can grip delicate or irregularly shaped objects securely and precisely. The Tray & Shadow Board app helps to design shadow boards for tools as well as individual transport carriers, improving both safety and efficiency in logistics. With the Workpiece Creator app, users who do not have digital models can intuitively create 3D models using drag-and-drop.
Florian Reichle, CEO of trinckle, explained that the platform is based on customer requests and has been specifically developed to facilitate access to additive manufacturing. He emphasized that the Additive App Suite is designed to help companies integrate innovative technologies into their processes more easily and quickly. The three new apps offer practical solutions that are easy to use and can be quickly integrated into existing processes.
The beta version of the Additive App Suite will be presented for the first time at Formnext 2024. Interested companies will have the opportunity to participate in the beta program and try out the new apps at an early stage. Trinckle plans to continuously expand the platform.
