Adidas Gives 3D Printed Shoes to Rio Medallists

Around every big sports event the marketers of sport brands get creative. While Under Armour gives Michael Phelps a special pair of 3D printed shoes, Adidas will give a few selected medallists a pair of their own 3D printed shoes.

The “Triple Black” adidas Futurecraft 3D is a special version of the Futurecraft 3D developed with Materialise. The shoe features a 3D printed sole and is kept in black for the “Triple Black” edition.
