Afinia to Distribute 3D Scanners by Shining3D in the US

Shining3D expands its presence on the US market by signing a distribution agreement with 3D printing company Afinia3D, who will offer their EinScan Pro multifunctional handheld 3D scanner.

Afinia currently already offers the EinScan-S desktop 3D scanner as the Afinia-branded ES360. “We’ve had great interest in the EinScan-S and are excited to offer the EinScan-Pro to educators and engineers,” explains John Westrum, Afinia 3D’s Vice President and Educational Channel Lead.

The multifunctional EinScan Pro offers four different scan modes. The Handheld Rapid scan allows for quick scanning, while the Handheld HD Scan mode captures objects with high accuracy (50 microns). Automatic Scan Mode is excellent for small parts and Free Scan Mode is useful for large parts. These four scan modes make the EinScan-Pro an excellent option for engineers, artists, and medical professionals alike, and offers added benefits such as portability and the option of scanning in full-color mode to create high quality 3D models for color 3D printing.
