Airwolf 3D Breaks World Record for Good Cause

Airwolf 3D has teamed up with Robohand USA to 3D print 201 prosthetic hands during a 24-hour event held at the company’s head quarter in California.

For the 3D print-a-thon printer owners and Airwolf 3D employees gathered for a good cause and also broke the World Guinness Record for the most 3D printers operating simulataneouly.  The Open Source file of Robohand was printed on 170 3D printers at the same time.

“We are so grateful to our volunteers, and to Ty and her amazing mission with Robohand,” says Mark Mathews. “This event is monumental for us. We wanted to show the capabilities of this technology, how we can unite people to work toward a greater good. I think we accomplished that.”
