The British company AM Futures has signed a distribution agreement with Eplus3D and will now market the Chinese manufacturer’s metal printing systems in the United Kingdom. The collaboration follows the successful installation of over 100 Metal Powder Bed Fusion (MPBF) systems from Eplus3D across Europe. The goal is to provide UK businesses with customized metal 3D printing solutions that ensure consistent part quality, high availability, and optimized return on investment.
Nigel Robinson, Founder and Director at AM Futures, commented: “We are thrilled to work alongside the team at Eplus3D to bring their high-performance metal PBF machines to the UK market. I have been impressed at the way the Eplus3D team helps to enable customers with their technology. When it comes to AM, quality and reliability should be a given. As the industry has expanded and technology evolved, we see more customers seeking greater value in the supply chain to achieve the best possible ‘piece part price’. Eplus3D is now offering the step change required.”
Eplus3D develops scalable MPBF printing systems for industrial applications, offering build volumes ranging from 260 × 260 × 390 mm to 2050 × 2050 × 1100 mm, with the Z-axis expandable up to 2000 mm. The machines are available in configurations with up to 64 lasers, allowing them to be adapted to various production requirements. The systems support a wide range of metal materials, including aluminum, titanium, and nickel alloys, as well as stainless steel, tool steel, and copper alloys.
Martin Bizot, Account Manager at Eplus3D Tech GmbH, commented: “The UK is a highly advanced market in metal additive manufacturing, and with AM Futures’ expertise in metal AM, combined with the productivity and technical advantages of our machines, we are ready to unlock new opportunities and push the boundaries of metal AM production.”
The partnership between the two companies aims to facilitate access to modern additive manufacturing solutions for UK industrial enterprises. With Eplus3D’s expansion into the UK market and AM Futures’ distribution and consulting expertise, businesses could develop new production strategies and economically implement metal 3D printing.
