The new AMPOWER Report 2022 reports a regained growth of over 16% after the first impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the part manufacturing service grew exponentially, system supplier had struggled with supply chain disruptions preventing further growth. With these positive numbers achieved, metal and polymer suppliers look ahead positively and aim for market size of EUR 20 billion in 2026.
Basis for the AMPOWER Report 2022 are personal interviews with suppliers and users of the industry. The system suppliers that contributed with direct input represent more than 90 % of the worldwide installed base of metal and polymer Additive Manufacturing systems. The total number of data points of the AMPOWER Report 2022 data acquisition exceeds 23,600.
