AMR seal: New system for quality testing in additive manufacturing

With the AMR seal, AM Raylike GmbH has developed an evaluation system that is specially tailored to the requirements of additive manufacturing. The aim of the seal is to objectively test and document the dimensional accuracy of components in order to ensure the quality of production and create transparency for end customers. This practice-oriented system is designed to help companies optimize their production processes and increase confidence in their products.

The AMR seal is based on the testing of test specimens that comply with industry standards such as DIN EN ISO-ASTM 52902:2020-05. The analysis is carried out using an automated process that is both lean and cost-efficient. AM Raylike GmbH thus appeals in particular to companies that want to prove their product quality without having to bear the high costs of comprehensive certification.

“Our AMR seal is designed to offer companies a reliable and affordable solution for transparently documenting the dimensional accuracy of their components,” explains Michael Ray, CEO and founder of AM Raylike GmbH. “This allows manufacturers to not only ensure their quality at a high level, but also increase the trustworthiness of their products with a seal.”

In addition to the documentation of dimensional accuracy in accordance with ISO 2769-1m, the extended version of the seal, the AMR Seal Plus, offers additional verification for downstream processes. The solution is therefore aimed at a wide range of users, from established production companies to start-ups that rely on additive manufacturing.

The AMR seal helps to standardize quality assurance in additive manufacturing and enables companies to easily communicate their expertise and reliability. With the introduction of this solution, AM Raylike GmbH is relying on a cost-effective and scalable method that meets the growing demands of the industry.
