The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) 2025 promises another comprehensive conference with in-depth insights into current developments and challenges in additive manufacturing. From March 30 to April 3, 2025, leading industry representatives and experienced users will present and discuss their insights into the technologies and their use in Chicago
The program offers a wide range of specialist presentations, discussion panels and workshops dealing with various aspects of additive manufacturing. Even before the official opening, certification courses on standards and quality management will be offered on March 29 and 30. These courses are aimed at engineers and professionals who want to familiarize themselves with the latest industry requirements.
The main conference begins on March 31 with keynotes and panels on current topics such as material innovations, process optimization and new applications in aerospace, healthcare and industrial manufacturing. Particularly noteworthy are discussions on the role of additive manufacturing in military logistics, quality control in polymer powder 3D printing and new approaches in metal processing with Directed Energy Deposition (DED).
AMUG DINO Awards
The AMUG DINO Awards ceremony and presentations by NASA and other leading organizations will take place on 1 April. New trends in software development for additive manufacturing and in-situ quality control will also be discussed. Particular attention will be paid to the integration of 3D printing into existing manufacturing processes in order to make the most of economic and technological advantages.
Networking
Another highlight is networking, which is promoted by various evening events, including the AMUGexpo and the traditional AMUG dinner. These provide a platform for exchange between experts and companies.
