The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) has elected four new members to its Board of Directors, who will take office on July 1, 2025. With the appointment of Heather Natal, Alex Roschli, Kim Killoran and Dallas Martin, the organization is relying on experienced professionals from various areas of additive manufacturing. AMUG sees itself as a platform for promoting knowledge transfer and networking in the 3D printing industry.

Heather Natal was confirmed as Secretary, a position she has already held for two years. She works at GoEngineer and is currently involved in several AMUG committees. Her re-election reflects the members’ confidence in her organizational skills.

Alex Roschli, a scientist from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will take over the leadership of the Education and Conference Division. His previous work on the Agenda and Track Leader Committee forms the basis for his new task: organizing the content of the annual AMUG conference, which includes technical presentations as well as practical workshops.

Kim Killoran, a long-time member of the organization and marketing manager at Stratasys, will serve as Director of Marketing & Events. She brings extensive experience from her previous board work and will coordinate strategic communications and event planning.

As Director of Sponsors & Exhibitors, Dallas Martin from Toyota will be responsible for working with exhibitors and sponsors. His longtime participation and involvement with AMUG is a testament to his commitment to the community.

Regarding the newly named AMUG Board, Shannon VanDeren, AMUG President, said, “The board of directors that will serve AMUG for 2025-2026 is comprised of various backgrounds, skillsets, additive manufacturing disciplines, years in the industry, and personalities. Yet collectively, they are focused and committed to upholding the integrity and purpose of AMUG.”

She continued, “We will have the opportunity to glean from the diverse perspectives and viewpoints of our board members, consisting of men and women, engineers and non-engineers, as well as people with business-oriented and technically focused careers. I look forward to healthy conversations and a forward-moving approach!”

In particular, the new board will drive forward the planning of the 2026 AMUG conference in Reno, Nevada – a key event for additive manufacturing professionals that combines knowledge transfer with real-world application.
