Anycubic introduces new Kobra 3 V2 Combo 3D printer: multi-color printing and optimized leveling

With the Kobra 3 V2 Combo, Anycubic is launching an FDM printing system that is aimed at users who value reliable multi-color printing and fast print preparation.

The print volume is 255 × 255 × 260 mm. During operation, the printer achieves speeds of up to 600 mm/s; 300 mm/s is recommended. The maximum acceleration is 20,000 mm/s². The manufacturer states a printing time of around 13 minutes for a Benchy model with a layer height of 0.2 mm. For multi-color printing, the device uses the ACE-Pro system, which is included twice in the scope of delivery of the Combo version. This allows up to eight filaments to be processed in one print job. Filaments are changed automatically and the drying unit supports temperatures of up to 55 °C.

Calibration is based on the new LeviQ 3.0 system. It specifically detects the relevant areas under the model and thus reduces the preparation time. The Z-axis is set automatically; manual offset is no longer necessary. The printing platform heats up to 110 °C, the hotend reaches 300 °C. A 0.4 mm nozzle is used as standard, but 0.25, 0.6 and 0.8 mm are also available as options.

Other features include a 720p camera for monitoring and time-lapse as well as functions such as spaghetti detection, print resumption in the event of a power failure and filament end detection. It can be controlled locally via the device or via the Anycubic app. USB imports and LAN connections are also supported.

Prices will be announced from May 15, 2025. There are also discounts for early bookers.
