The Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Anycubic has expanded its portfolio of FDM 3D printers with the Kobra S1 Combo. The 3D printer has a print volume of 250 x 250 x 250 mm and supports 3D printing with up to eight colors. Thanks to the CoreXY design and a maximum printing speed of 600 mm/s, the model is aimed at demanding users who expect precise and efficient results.
A highlight of the Kobra S1 Combo is the ability to print with eight colors. Two ACE Pro units can be combined for this purpose, which work in conjunction with a special feed system for color changes. This system ensures detailed and colorful results.
According to the manufacturer, the printer also scores with optimized efficiency. During the printing process, the integrated filament drying unit dries the material used. This saves on additional devices and also ensures better print quality. If a filament runs out, the system automatically switches to the next spool of the same material to avoid interruptions.
The user-friendliness of the Kobra S1 Combo is also reflected in its comprehensive technical features. With a 4.3-inch touchscreen, integrated AI detection to prevent printing errors and air filtration that reduces unpleasant odors, the printing process is made more efficient and pleasant. The printer also supports a wide range of materials such as PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS and ASA.
While the regular price is 649 euros, the Kobra S1 Combo is available at an introductory price of 549 euros. There is also the Kobra S1, which only supports 4 colors. This is currently available for 379 euros, the regular price is 549 euros.
