Swedish manufacturer of Electron Beam Melting systems, Arcam is expanding in Germany with a new sales operation led by Peter Jain and based in Stuttgart.
With long term relationships with significant clients such as Fruth Innovation Technology, Fraunhofer Institute and Implantcast, Germany is an important market for Arcam today with a great potential for the future. The new sales office in Stuttgart will support our activities in Germany, providing initially sales and liaison, and further on local support to the German customer base.

The company has also recently launched the enhanced Qplus generation of their EBM systems. The new Arcam Q10plus and Arcam Q20plus offer upt to 25% higher productivity with significantly improved surface finish and precision. While new electronics along with the EBM Control 5.0 software platform bring more efficient and accurate beam control, the innovative Arcam xQam X-ray based detection system allows for automatic calibration and improved beam control.
Alcoa, the world’s third largest supplier of lightweight metals, has expanded its portfolio of additive manufacturing solutions to include the Arcam Q20plus. The new system enables the company to deliver complex components for the aerospace industry. Among their clients are Airbus, Boeing, GE Aviation and Lockheed Martin.
