ArmorSource relies on 3D printing for helmets for soldiers

ArmorSource unveiled its new helmet system, AireSupport Max, at the SHOT Show 2025 in Las Vegas. Developed using advanced 3D printing technology, this system aims to elevate comfort and impact protection within the head protection industry. Featuring a specially designed, polymer-based structure, the system is tailored to meet the needs of military, law enforcement, and tactical professionals.

According to Nick Gramly, the VP of Technology for ArmorSource: “What sets AireSupport Max apart is its innovative design, crafted from a printed polymer structure. The unique 3D structure ensures superior airflow and ventilation. This construction not only maximizes breathability but also delivers exceptional comfort, blunt impact protection, and stability-key features that will set the bar for what premium head protection should feel like.”

Another technical advantage of the system is its resistance to water absorption, making it highly reliable in humid or maritime environments. Additionally, AireSupport Max not only meets but reportedly exceeds U.S. Army requirements for blunt impact protection. Its universal fit, designed to seamlessly adapt to various head shapes and sizes, further broadens its range of applications.

The system was tested by a select group of users in real-world scenarios, who highlighted its combination of comfort, stability, and functionality, establishing it as a new standard for helmet padding systems.

ArmorSource positions AireSupport Max as a durable and forward-looking solution for head protection, designed to perform in both military and tactical applications. The company emphasizes that this technology guarantees not only performance but also longevity in demanding operational environments.
