The company formerly known as TRUMPF Additive Manufacturing will now operate under the name ATLIX. With its new brand identity, the manufacturer aims to emphasize its independence while consolidating its position in the field of industrial metal 3D printing. The official launch will take place at Formnext 2025 in Frankfurt (Hall 12.0, Booth D99).
ATLIX has been spun off from the TRUMPF Group and is focusing on continuity in technology and service. According to CEO Matthias Himmelsbach, the company is building on a “strong foundation” and wants to further expand its long-term customer relationships. Marino Ferrarese, Head of Sales and Marketing, also emphasizes that ATLIX is committed to its proven products and services, but wants to develop them further with greater agility and responsiveness. The aim is to react more quickly to market changes and expand the product range.
A central element of the relaunch is the TruPrint 5000, which ATLIX is presenting for the first time under its new name. The metal 3D printing system is designed for the series production of large and complex components. It combines high manufacturing quality with automation, enabling lower unit costs and more efficient production. ATLIX is thus addressing the growing demand for industrial-grade additive manufacturing solutions that can be integrated into existing production lines.
With the new brand, ATLIX is positioning itself as an independent supplier in the growing market for metal additive manufacturing. The move reflects a trend that many technology companies are pursuing in order to make specialized business areas more flexible and customer-oriented. At Formnext, ATLIX will present this new direction in detail for the first time, including its revised brand identity and expanded solution portfolio.
