AtomForm introduces Palette 300: Multicolor 3D printer with automatic nozzle change

Newly founded manufacturer AtomForm unveiled its first 3D printer at CES 2026. The Palette 300 is aimed at the consumer and prosumer markets and is designed for multicolor and multi-material applications. According to the company, up to twelve separate nozzles allow up to 36 colors and twelve materials to be combined in a single print job.

The central feature is the OmniElement Automatic Nozzle Swapping System. Each nozzle is assigned to a specific filament. An automatic changeover takes place via a rotating mechanism without the need to reload filament or flush out material. AtomForm expects this to result in shorter printing times and consistent surface quality. In addition, the elimination of flushing processes is expected to significantly reduce material consumption. The company claims a reduction in filament waste of up to 90 percent.

The printer has more than 50 sensors and four AI-supported cameras to monitor the printing process. Among other things, these are designed to assist with nozzle calibration and detect errors during printing. Further technical specifications include a maximum printing speed of 800 millimeters per second, an acceleration of 25,000 millimeters per square second, and a build volume of 300 × 300 × 300 millimeters. AtomForm states that the noise level is a maximum of 48 decibels. An integrated air filtration system is also provided. The manufacturer uses its own slicer software called AtomForm Studio for data processing.

AtomForm was founded in 2023 and is affiliated with the smart home and robotics company MOVA, based in Suzhou. Parts of the development team come from other MOVA business areas. In addition to the printer, AtomForm announced the RFD-6 filament management system, which actively dries filaments and feeds them directly to the Palette 300.

The market launch is planned for the second quarter of 2026. Early birds will be able to purchase the 3D printer for $999. The general retail price is expected to be $2,199.
