Authentise connects quoting and production: new interfaces for data-driven AM workflows

Authentise is expanding its ecosystem with integrations to 3D Spark, Digifabster, and Paperless Parts, spanning the arc from quoting to order fulfillment in additive and subtractive manufacturing. The core is the connection to Authentise Flows and the Digital Design Warehouse, which manages CAD data with revision control and consolidates process-relevant metadata.

3D Spark provides automated decision support directly in the design repository. Uploaded geometries are evaluated for manufacturability, cost, lead time, and CO₂ footprint across various processes, including additive options. This embedding accelerates make-or-buy considerations and helps identify parts suitable for AM that have so far been produced conventionally. Users gain a comparison basis across material, technology, and lot sizes—without tool breaks between analysis and data store.

With Digifabster, Authentise closes the gap between online quoting and the shop floor. Accepted quotes are bidirectionally synchronized with Flows and created as production orders—including material specifications, post-processing, and customer data. Status updates flow back into sales and the customer portal.

“Partnering with Authentise is a natural step for us,” said Konstantin Ivanov, CEO of Digifabster. “Our mission has always been to help manufacturers respond to customer requests instantly and accurately. Connecting Digifabster directly with Authentise Flows takes that a step further—quotes don’t just get accepted, they get built. Together, we’re removing the last bit of friction between the front office and the factory floor.”

Paperless Parts targets precision-oriented manufacturers with stringent compliance requirements. Confirmed orders—with STL data, ITAR status, and specifications—flow into Flows without manual reformatting and are available there for scheduling, resource planning, and traceability. Linking costing and operations creates a consistent data basis from customer quote to shipment.

The integrations concentrate process data in one place and support robust, quickly adaptable AM workflows. For shops with mixed AM and CNC portfolios, this means fewer media breaks, higher quoting accuracy, and a solid foundation for decisions on technology paths and sustainability goals.
