AutoCAD 2017 With Fully Intergrated 3D Printing Software – Print Studio

Since 1982 Autodesk is one of the best known creators of CAD software. The flagship of the company is AutoCAD and the newest version of this software will have a fully 3D printing support.

AutoCAD has already added some features that help with 3D printing in their last version (AutoCAD 2016). These newly added features were pretty popular and so Autodesk decided that the new AutoCAD 2017 will have an even bigger feature set inside its own program. This subprogram is called “Print Studio” and is a collection of useful tools. The main use of this software is to create the needed files for 3D printing out of the previous created CAD files. The software will be suited up for nearly every 3D printer so it doesn’t matter if you print the objects at home or send them to another company to print them for you.

Of cause this software won’t revolutionize 3D printing but you should not forget that millions of people use AutoCAD. And they will test the 3D printing part of AutoCAD and maybe they will even use it. The Print Studio will act as slicing software and do as well as others – it has all needed features and a special algorithm to create support structures if needed.

Although there are similar alternatives for the new software it’s still a part of AutoCAD and the users that use AutoCAD and 3D printing will start using the Print Studio. And it’s also made with the known “Autodesk Quality” which is wanted by the more advanced users.
