Aware – 3D Printed Wearables That Measure Your Brainwaves

The development of wearables makes one leap after another into an unknown future – 3D printing is helping to make this future as personal as possible.

A recent Kickstarter campaign for smart headphones named Aware wants to track your body activities as well as the activities of your brain and your sleep. United Sciences is the company behind this wearable. To make wearing the Aware more comfortable the outer shell will be individually produced for the buyer.

To produce the headphones the company developed a 3D scanner named eFit which was introduced in 2015. With the data from the 3D scan a individual shell is printed for every ear.
