Axtra3D, a company specializing in additive manufacturing, has announced a partnership with Solid Technologies. As a system integrator with more than 20 years of experience, Solid Technologies will serve as a premium reseller for Axtra3D’s high-speed SLA printing technology. The collaboration aims to provide customers with powerful technology, a broad range of materials, and flexible application possibilities.
Solid Technologies is well established in mechanical design and manufacturing, offering tailored integration solutions and technical support. The company has a strong focus on resin-based 3D printing systems. Through this partnership with Axtra3D, the development of advanced production solutions in photopolymerization will be further enhanced.
Axtra3D’s SLA printing solution combines two well-established resin printing technologies to address key industry challenges, such as print speed and part quality.
“Having worked in the manufacturing industry for more than two decades, I have seen how 3D printing has evolved from early prototyping to full-scale production,” said Mike Marino, Managing Partner at Solid Technologies. “The Lumia HPS system brings together two well-established resin printing technologies to address some of the biggest challenges in the industry, including print speed and part quality. We are excited to provide our customers with a printer that can help them meet demanding production requirements while maintaining precision and reliability.”
The collaboration is intended to help manufacturing companies optimize their production processes. Axtra3D aims to facilitate the industrial adoption of additive manufacturing through improved printing technologies.
“We are excited to partner with Solid Technologies as they share our vision of making additive manufacturing a truly transformative force in the industrial sector,” said Greg Elfering, EVP of Global Revenue at Axtra3D. “Their deep knowledge of resin 3D printing and commitment to driving automation solutions for their clients complements Axtra3D’s mission of providing highly reliable and best-in-photopolymerization 3D printing systems with unrivaled surface finish, throughput, and material flexibility.”
With this new partnership, Axtra3D continues to expand its distribution network. Solid Technologies’ customers will gain access to high-speed SLA printers and an extended range of materials. The integration of these systems is expected to reduce production costs while simultaneously increasing productivity.
