A small team has founded the first large additive manufacturing center in Riga, Latvia.
The factory was partly supported by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism project with over 170.000€. With that and a loan the company invested in nine different 3D printers from Statasys.
Janis Jatnieks, managing director of Baltic3D, says:
“We offer manufacture of high-precision prototypes, small-scale production of end products and provide assistance to companies in terms of production optimization. 3D printing technology helps reduce costs for our clients in comparison with traditional manufacturing methods. It also helps save time and money when creating new products”
