Bambu Lab postpones launch of new high-end 3D printer series until early 2025

3D printer manufacturer Bambu Lab has announced the market launch of its new high-end series for early 2025. The launch, originally planned for an earlier date, has been adjusted to integrate additional functions and optimise product quality.

The new printer series is aimed at demanding users. It is positioned above the current X1 series and is intended to set new technological standards. The company is still keeping specific details of the technical innovations under wraps.

Dr Tao, CEO and co-founder of Bambu Lab, explains the delay: ‘We are developing a product that will push the boundaries of what is possible in consumer 3D printing. The additional time will ensure that we deliver on this promise and deliver a product that is fully mature and supported globally.’

According to Bambu Lab, the extension of the development time is therefore not just for optimising the printer hardware. Bambu Lab is also using the additional months to prepare for the global market launch. This includes ensuring sufficient stocks, the availability of spare parts and the establishment of robust logistics chains in all regions.
