Bambu Lab is expanding the material support in its Bambu Studio slicer software. With the latest version 1.10.2, official filament profiles from Sunlu are now available. Users no longer need to manually adjust their printing parameters for Sunlu materials, but can select the pre-configured profiles directly.
The integration includes a range of common materials, including PETG, PLA Marble, PLA Matte, PLA+, PLA+ 2.0, Silk PLA+ and Wood PLA. These profiles are matched to the Bambu-Lab printers and are designed to enable higher print quality with reduced configuration time.
Previously, users had to define individual settings for temperature, flow rate and cooling themselves. This could lead to inconsistent results depending on the material and printer. With the new profiles, this effort is no longer necessary, as all important parameters are predefined and optimized.
The profiles are integrated directly into the official BambuStudio repository and are therefore available via the regular update. Further materials will follow in the future. For users of Bambu-Lab printers that use Sunlu filaments, the new feature should make things noticeably easier.
