3YOURMIND announced Bas de Jong as Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director. Bas de Jong will be stepping into the position from the role of Chief Commercial Officer, where he will oversee the company’s strategic and day-to-day operations with support from co-founder and CEO Aleksander Ciszek.
The announcement follows the departure of co-founder Stephan Kühr, who will transition from his role as COO to serve on the advisory board. As a board member, Kühr will continue to oversee and provide strategic leadership for 3YOURMIND.
“It was my dream to start 3YOURMIND and transform it from an idea into a globally successful company,” says Kühr. “I’m so happy to have an amazing team and management with whom I am confident will continue to grow 3YOURMIND successfully moving forward.”
Bas de Jong brings more than eight years of experience in the industry, helping companies adopt cost-saving additive technologies. Previously, de Jong helped build Ultimaker, a premier AM machine manufacturer, as Head of Global Business Development. In his latest role at 3YOURMIND, de Jong will leverage his customer-centric approach to sales and operations to advance software adoption for on-demand manufacturing.
