Bondtech Introduces New QR Extruder

Swedish company Bondtech has released the upgraded version of their 3D printer extruder.

Bondtech QR can either replace an existing extruder in a 3D printer or be integrated in a completely new device build from scratch. The new and third version was designed taking into account feedback received from users of version two, released back in February this year.

One of the main features that distinguishes the extruder from others are its counter-rotating feed-wheels, a mechanism explained in the following short video:

The latest version is equipped with a Quick Release lever for quickly changing the filament and is compatible with E3D’s V5 and V6 hot ends. It is available in both 1.75 mm and 3.0 mm filament diameter versions at SMW3D.
