CAD Exchanger has released a comprehensive update of its software for the conversion and visualization of 3D CAD data. According to the provider, version 3.23.0 supports new versions of popular CAD programs such as Siemens NX and Autodesk Inventor.
Other new features include the processing of BIM models and enhancements to the programming interface. Adjustments to the data model and API should make the software even easier to use for Building Information Modeling workflows.
The documentation for the interface has also been revised to make developers’ work easier. CAD Exchanger has also announced a new standalone product specifically for production-related applications such as cost estimation and sheet metal processing.
With the update, CAD Exchanger says it supports over 80 CAD formats and enables conversion and visualization on desktop, web and mobile. A free trial version is available on the provider’s website.
