ChemCubed brings broad NanoCubed materials portfolio to Formnext 2022

ChemCubed is a U.S. based research, development, and manufacturing company of nano composite material for the Additive Manufacturing industry. The company offers solutions for Additive Manufacturing in the form of materials for 3D printing polymers and electronics. Located in Stony Brook’s Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (AERTC), ChemCubed looks to innovate nanotechnology application for new and novel sources. ChemCubed product offerings are split up into two divisions: NanoCubed and ElectroJet.

ChemCubed NanoCubed materials emulate the mechanical features of common polymers for overall strength specifications with industry-leading results. NanoCubed™ rigid materials are made up of fast-curing materials designed to simulate standard rigid plastics including ABS, Polypropylene and other custom-engineered for specific mechanical properties. NanoCubed flexible materials can form shape-memory products. They are suitable for polyjet and SLA type printers. Printed material exhibits moderate tensile strength, high elongation, and a glossy surface. Exhibiting extraordinary shape memory properties, the printed parts recover from deformation very quickly.

ChemCubed ElectroJet offerings include the ElectroUV3D flatbed inkjet printer, Jettable dielectrics, and particle free silver conductive inks. The ElectroUV3D flatbed inkjet printer for electronics digitally prints both silver conductive inks and UV curable dielectric insulating inks. The printer comes with a 12” x 24” printing bed with a silicone tacky mat, and now includes a vacuum table. The ElectroUV3D printer now comes in a full turn-key startup package that includes accessories, maintenance supplies, inks, and training. ChemCubed ElectroJet particle-free silver ink sintering temperature is 80°C / 5-minutes and is superior because void-free silver is fully conductive.

ChemCubed will be exhibiting at FormNext 2022 in search of a European distributor. ChemCubed wants to bring its innovative technologies to aerospace, automotive, and healthcare companies in Europe.
