Choc Edge to Launch Version 2.0 Plus of their Chocolate 3D Printer

UK-based company and spin-off of the University of Exeter, Choc Edge, is about to launch Choc Creator 2.0 Plus.

The latest version of their chocolate 3D printer, which has been unveiled in 2011 for the first time, features a number of improvements.

The Choc Creator 2.0 Plus combines optimal performance, light-weight yet robust build, greater ease of use and a more affordable price. These features make it more accessible to chocolatiers, retailers, bakers and chefs, event organisers, food innovators and designers who are ready to bring their unlimited imagination to life!” explains Choc Edge in a Facebook post.

The smaller and more light-weight device features a build volume of 18 x 18 x 5 cm. Major components such as the 30 ml syringe and the print head are made from food safe stainless steel, which eliminates clogging and makes it easier to clean. The machine now features a LCD touch screen as well as an USB connection.

Early bird offers of the Choc Creator 2.0 Plus will be available for £ 1,665 through the Choc Edge Webshop at the end of September.
