ColorFabb Introduces Copper-Based Filament

The dutch 3D printing material company colorFabb introduces copperFill, a copper-based filament for 3D printers.

The new filament is a PLA based material with infused micronised copper powder, similar to colorFabb’s bronzeFill filament. The company suggests to use metal hot-ends, such as the Makerbot Replicator 2 or the E3D hot-end. They warn against using hot-ends with teflon isolator coupler, as the filament could clog the device.

CopperFill is available in 1,75 mm and 2,85 mm diameter and can be pre-ordered for € 49,95 ($ 63) in coloFabb’s webshop.
