At Conflux Technology, a company specialized in additively manufactured heat exchangers, a planned leadership change is taking place. On 7 November 2025, Dan Woodford, previously Chief Commercial Officer, will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer. Company founder Michael Fuller will move into the role of Executive Chairman and will focus there on governance, corporate strategy and technical direction.

“Elevating Dan Woodford to CEO builds on our international strategy and positions Conflux for its next phase of growth,” said Michael Fuller. “As Executive Chairman, I will continue to guide our long-term strategy and ensure continuity of our technical direction.”

Conflux develops and produces complex heat exchanger structures that are typically manufactured using metal 3D printing – for example by means of laser powder bed fusion with fine channels, lattice structures and function-optimized geometry. These components are used in high-performance and electric vehicles, in civil and military aviation, as well as in electronics and chip cooling. Woodford emphasizes that the company intends to expand its existing presence in international markets and broaden its product portfolio in order to meet the growing demand for thermal management solutions.

“I’m excited and honoured to continue this journey with Conflux, as we move into its next phase of growth and pursue our mission to make a global impact through revolutionary thermal management,” said Dan Woodford, CEO. “We’ll expand our existing international footprint and boost product offerings that meet growing demand across high-performance and electric automotive, next-generation civil and defence aviation, and electronics and chip cooling markets.”

In his previous role as CCO, Woodford was responsible, according to the company, for driving strong revenue growth over several years in the target industries, expanding series production orders and advancing the establishment of the UK site. This experience is expected to help further develop Conflux’s additive manufacturing capabilities towards scalable series production – from design optimization and qualified additively manufactured hardware through to certifiable supply chains.
