Cooler Master is introducing the Qube 540, a PC case that can be used both vertically and horizontally, addressing different placement footprints. The model continues the geometric design language of the series and, with a modular interior, targets builds in tight living spaces, on creator desktop setups, or in shelf niches. In addition to the Moonstone and Stardust Iron variants, the manufacturer is highlighting the option to print accessories yourself to customize the case functionally and visually.
Technically, the Qube 540 supports motherboards from ITX to E-ATX with a maximum width of 280 millimeters, graphics cards up to 415 millimeters in length, and 360-millimeter radiators. The interior can be configured for defined airflow paths; GPU clearances and mounting points can be adapted to the specific components used. A relocatable I/O panel and repositionable carrying elements make placement easier depending on the setup, while guided cable channels are intended to help beginners achieve a clean build. The chassis volume is 40.64 liters, targeting compact yet high-performance systems.
Particular emphasis is placed on personalization via 3D printing. Users can download official and community-developed open-source files, for example for brackets, covers, or trays. In cooperation with 3D-printer maker Prusa, suitable add-ons are intended to be easier to access. For the maker audience, this means functional expansions can be implemented without altering the base chassis, and parts can be iteratively adjusted as needed.
“People want a case that adapts to their life, not the other way around,” said Wei Yang, General Manager, Cooler Master North America. “With QUBE 540, you can choose a vertical or horizontal system, move elements to optimize airflow and clearance, and personalize with 3D printable accessories. It is a compact case that invites creativity without adding complexity.”
With its combination of modular mechanics and open 3D files, the Qube 540 taps into the trend toward highly customizable builds. The case is offered through authorized retailers; availability varies by region.
