3D metrology specialist Creaform, a division of AMETEK, Inc., has recently received several new certifications, including ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and TISAX. These standards confirm compliance with stringent information security, environmental management and industry-specific safety requirements. The new certificates complement the company’s existing ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 certifications.
ISO 27001 certification defines guidelines for the secure handling of sensitive information. Companies must implement extensive security measures to prevent data loss and cyberattacks. Creaform has thus demonstrated that it has established strict protection mechanisms that comply with current standards. Customers benefit from the certainty that their data is managed according to recognized security guidelines.
With the TISAX certification, Creaform fulfills the specific security requirements of the automotive industry. TISAX was introduced by the German automotive industry to ensure information protection along the entire supply chain. Compliance with this standard is particularly important for suppliers, as it enables the secure exchange of sensitive development and production data between companies.
ISO 14001 confirms the sustainable use of environmental resources. Companies with this certification implement measures to reduce their ecological footprint. Creaform says it is pursuing a strategy to minimize waste and energy consumption in order to reduce its environmental impact in the long term.
“Achieving these certifications is an important milestone for Creaform,” said Fanny Truchon, President of Creaform. “It underscores our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operations. The ISO 27001 certification ensures that our information security practices are among the best in the industry, the ISO 14001 certification demonstrates our commitment to environmental sustainability, and the TISAX certification reflects our ability to meet the specialized needs of the automotive industry. Together with our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 certifications, these achievements reflect our continuous efforts to exceed industry standards and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”
