The Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Creality operates Creality Cloud, a comprehensive platform for 3D printing. It is not only aimed at owners of Creality printers, but offers added value for all interested parties.
The core of Creality Cloud is the remote control and monitoring of up to 20 printers. This allows print jobs to be conveniently distributed and logs to be created. A camera enables time-lapse videos of printing. AI-based detection warns of problems.
But the platform includes even more: Various 3D models can be found in the 3D model marketplace. Designers can upload their creations and sell them via a credit system. According to the operator, there are also no additional fees as part of the system. Only fees for payment processing have to be paid, the rest of the revenue belongs to the designer. There are also contests and tools for creating your own models.
With more than a million users, Creality Cloud has become a comprehensive 3D printing community. Creality says it brings together all aspects of 3D printing from modeling to printing. Apps are also available for Android and iOS.
