Creality unveiled the Sermoon P1, a mobile all-in-one 3D scanner, at CES 2026. The device is aimed at users who want to create 3D scans without an external computer. Unlike notebook-based solutions, the Sermoon P1 features an integrated computer with a display and battery and can be used entirely in standalone mode.
A blue laser is used as the capture system, which operates in several configurations. Twenty-two cross lines are available for fast scans, and seven parallel lines for finer details. In addition, there is a single laser line specifically designed for recesses and holes. The blue laser is designed to enable dark surfaces or metal to be captured without additional matting spray. Creality specifies the maximum accuracy as up to 0.02 millimeters. In addition, the scanner supports structured light in the NIR range, which is said to achieve an accuracy of up to 0.075 millimeters. Depending on the mode, this results in a scan resolution between 0.05 and 2 millimeters or 0.1 and 2 millimeters.
The Sermoon P1 can be operated both independently and in conjunction with a PC. In standalone mode, the system processes scans at up to 60 frames per second. In wired PC mode, up to 100 FPS are possible, and in wireless NIR mode, up to 30 FPS. The preview is displayed on a 6-inch touchscreen. Inside, it features an eight-core Qualcomm chipset with up to 3.36 gigahertz, complemented by an Adreno 740 GPU and a DSP with 48 TOPS. It also has 24 gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 gigabytes of UFS 4.0 storage.
Power is supplied by two replaceable batteries, each with a capacity of 3500 mAh. The scanner uses Wi-Fi 7 for wireless connectivity. Weighing around 850 grams, the device remains mobile. The manufacturer has not yet announced a price. According to the announcement, availability is scheduled for the end of January.
