The AI-driven manufacturing service provider Creallo has obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). Following its existing ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, the company is now expanding its integrated management system to include the area of information security.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard is recognized internationally as the benchmark for establishing and operating a structured information security management system. It defines how organizations systematically identify, assess, and minimize risks through technical and organizational measures. As part of this certification, Creallo implements control mechanisms such as access restrictions, tamper-proof logging, export controls, and physical security measures. According to the company, customer data, design drawings, and technical documentation are managed entirely within this system—regardless of whether a separate non-disclosure agreement is in place.
The integration of quality, environmental, and security standards is intended to particularly benefit business customers in safety-critical sectors such as robotics, aerospace, automotive engineering, and drone technology.
“Heejung Kim, CEO of Creallo, stated: ‘With ISO 27001 certification, Creallo has now established a management system that fulfills the requirements of quality (ISO 9001:2015), environment (ISO 14001), and security (ISO 27001). While these frameworks should be fundamental for any manufacturing service provider, they are still rare in the industry. This certification is not merely an internal compliance measure, but a promise to become a trusted partner even for industries where security is paramount. Creallo will continue to provide trust, stability, and a sustainable manufacturing environment for our customers.’”
With this, Creallo positions itself as a provider that combines technological expertise in 3D printing and digital manufacturing with compliance to regulatory requirements in an increasingly data-driven production landscape. The ISO/IEC 27001 certification serves as proof that the company has established defined processes to safeguard sensitive customer data and that its systems are subject to regular external audits.
