CRP Technology at PMW Expo 2017

For the first time, CRP Technology will be attending Professional Motorsport World Expo 2017.

The event will be held at the showroom hall 10.1 of the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, from November 15th to November 17th.

On November the 17th Emanuele Grotti (Assistant Production Manager at CRP Technology) will illustrate the paper “Innovative Engineering and Additive Manufacturing for Successful Combination On- and Off-track”.

The paper describes how it is possible to push the boundaries of conventional design, and launch a revolutionary approach in motorsports thanks to Additive Manufacturing and Windform reinforced composite materials.

It is analyzed the production of an intake manifold with SLS technology and how it is possible to mount it directly to engine.

The Motorsport Technology Presentation Stage will cover the latest and next-generation motorsport technologies for 2018 and beyond.

Windform materials are laser sintering materials for 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing.

They were born from the study-research of the R&D department of CRP Technology in the late 90’s.

The SLS polyamide-based glass or carbon fiber reinforced Windform materials can satisfy the needs of the international market of Additive Manufacturing and can guarantee originality, innovation, reliability, and mechanical performance.

Windform materials make it possible to fabricate high performance parts for wind tunnel applications, as well as fully functional and beautifully finished parts for near endless applications.

Professional Motorsport World Expo is exclusively open for people actively involved in motorsport. This event is not open to the general public.

PMW 2017 is one of the largest automotive exhibitions across Europe, expecting over 7000 participants from around 57 countries. It is a meeting place for professionals to exchange technologies, innovations and ideas on how to drive the industry.
