CRP Technology shortlisted in the Materials Award – Polymer for the TCT Awards 2018

CRP Technology is finalist for the second year in a row for the TCT Awards: following some strong competition and an intensive review by TCT Expert Advisory board, Windform® RL has been shortlisted for the Materials Award – Polymers at the TCT Awards 2018.

Windform® RL is CRP Technology’s first thermoplastic elastomer material within the Windform® family of materials for professional 3D Printing .

TCT Awards 2018 are to be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on the evening of Wednesday 26th September during the three days of 2018 edition of the TCT Show.

Each finalist entry is sent to the TCT Expert Advisory Board where the judging process will commence. The judges collectively use their expertise from varied industries to pick a winner from each category.
The winners will be announced by Robert Llewellyn, best known as ‘Kryten’ from the sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf, on the evening of the awards.

“We are very pleased to have been selected for the TCT Materials Award – Polymers 2018”, states Franco Cevolini, CTO at CRP Technology. “It is a very important recognition for the work carried out by our CRP Technology’s R&D department.

Moreover, it is a privilege to be listed in such important category along with such important 3D printing companies”.

“We created Windform® RL”, Franco Cevolini adds, “to provide complete and tailored end-to-end service to meet all customers’ needs. Choosing Windform® RL, customers will benefit from higher quality guaranteed by the experience and reliability of Windform® and CRP brands”.

Windform® RL is a durable thermoplastic elastomer material with exceptional rubber-like distinguishing features. Its mechanical characteristics make it particularly suited for Additive Manufacturing applications requiring complex geometries, and where flexible characteristics is a key requisite.
Flexible parts manufactured in Windform® RL and stiff parts in Windform® 3D printing materials can be bonded together by epoxy resins or with mechanical joints.
Windform® RL shows excellent durability and stability: It accommodates chemical and heat resistance and combines superior tear resistance with burst strength.
