Dressler Group (DG) will be presenting its latest developments in 3D printing powder and recycling solutions at Formnext 2024. The company, known for its expertise in powder production and material processing, focuses on individual solutions and sustainable concepts.
A central theme of the trade fair presence is the further development of recycling powders, in particular PA12. Together with Fraunhofer IPA and 3D printer manufacturer Voxeljet, DG is working on the recycling of powders for selective laser sintering (SLS). Initial results, including components made from recycled PA12, will be presented at the trade fair. This collaboration shows that the full reuse of printing powders is not only technically feasible, but also economically viable.
At the same time, Dressler Group is inviting interested parties to take part in a survey on bioplastics and recyclates, which is being conducted in collaboration with Chemnitz University of Technology. The aim is to better understand the needs and preferences of the industry. The results will be summarized in a white paper and made available for download free of charge.
