Prodways Group today announces new sales of selective laser sintering machines to DSM, a leading chemical company. With these sales, Prodways Group is bolstering its relationships with its longtime material supplier.
DSM has chosen Prodways to print its new PBT powder Arnite© AM1210 for selective laser sintering. The PBT’s electrical, mechanical and flame-retardant properties make it particularly well suited to the electronics and electrical industries. The material has been tested on Prodways ProMaker P4500 printer and will be sold by Prodways.
In addition, DSM recently purchased two ProMaker P2000 ST machines for high-temperature (up to 280°C) selective laser sintering to test its powders and to use in manufacturing applications.
