The Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing (ACAM) has gained a new partner. The US software company Dyndrite has joined the network. Dyndrite has made a name for itself with innovative solutions for digital manufacturing. Particularly noteworthy are the Accelerated Computation Engine (ACE) and Dyndrite LPBF Pro. These tools are characterised by high performance in geometry processing, automation and the development of materials and processes for metal 3D printing.
Dyndrite brings its core competences in mathematics, calculation, software development and manufacturing to the partnership. The company’s software tools, including Dyndrite LPBF Pro, are designed to help manufacturers overcome complex geometry and production challenges, accelerating research and development while reducing costs.
Stephan Ziegler, Managing Director of ACAM, sees great potential in the collaboration: ‘Dyndrite’s expertise in advanced digital manufacturing solutions fits perfectly with ACAM’s goal of advancing the AM industry. Together, we will work to improve automation and material development and open up new opportunities for large-scale digital manufacturing.’
The partnership promises to open up new avenues in additive manufacturing. By combining Dyndrite’s software solutions with ACAM’s extensive network and expertise, significant progress could be made in areas such as process optimisation, materials research and production scaling.
In the future, the co-operation plans to carry out joint research projects and intensify the exchange of knowledge between industry and science. The aim is to increase the efficiency and applicability of 3D printing in various branches of industry and thus further strengthen its role in modern manufacturing.
