EL-140 V3 3D printer: New model offers greater process reliability and improved extrusion

With the EL-140 V3, NEVO3D is launching an updated model of its industrial FDM 3D printing system. The revised version is based on several years of user feedback and addresses key weaknesses of the previous generations, for example in terms of print quality, reproducibility and usability. Technically, the system relies on modern components and software solutions that enable faster and more stable production.

At the heart of the update is a 32-bit mainboard which, in combination with the Orca slicer software and Klipper firmware, makes use of the latest functions such as Input Shaping and Pressure Advance. This allows vibrations and ghosting to be reduced, especially at high printing speeds of up to 500 mm/s. According to the manufacturer, the system should enable a reduction in printing time of up to three times compared to older models – with a more consistent surface quality at the same time.

Particular attention has been paid to material extrusion. A revised water cooling system for the print head ensures more stable temperatures and eliminates the well-known problem of pressure loss after longer travel distances. In addition, the E3D REVO HTX nozzle system is installed as standard in sizes 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm. The high-flow version supports a wide range of technical materials and simplifies nozzle changes without tools.

Automatic bed measurement is now carried out using a beacon sensor with 2,500 measuring points, which makes calibration significantly faster and more precise. A modified user interface contributes to simplified operation and enables quick access to relevant settings during operation.

For the market launch, the manufacturer is offering a limited discount campaign as well as individual upgrade options for users of the predecessor models EL-140 V1 and V2. The new system is therefore aimed at companies that want to modernize existing production lines and optimize their printing processes at the same time.
