Chinese manufacturer Elegoo has introduced the Mercury Plus V3.0, a revised version of its popular 2-in-1 device for the post-processing of resin 3D prints. With an extended capacity, optimized functions and a user-friendly design, the device is aimed at demanding hobbyists and professional users.
The Mercury Plus V3.0 combines washing and curing in one compact device. The cleaning function offers two options: basket mode, in which the print is placed directly in the cleaning container, and hanging mode, in which the printing plate remains attached to the appliance. With a maximum washing capacity of 230 mm x 135 mm x 260 mm (without printing plate), the device is also suitable for larger models or multiple prints in one pass. An improved POM bearing ensures smoother rotation and more intensive water circulation, which ensures thorough cleaning.
Curing is done by 24 powerful 405 nm UV LEDs in combination with a 360° rotating platform. Reflective mirrors distribute the UV light evenly so that even complex details are cured precisely. Users can individually adjust the curing time to up to 30 minutes to achieve an optimal finish. An anti-UV cover blocks 99.9% of harmful UV rays and provides protection during operation. In addition, a microswitch automatically stops the curing process when the cover is removed.
Elegoo has developed the Mercury Plus V3.0 for resin printers from various manufacturers, but it is specially optimized for its own devices. The device can currently be pre-ordered for 129.99 euros.
